What is

METRILOCK?

It is an integrated surveillance system consisting of electronic sensors of wireless technology and a central unit for receiving and sending signals.

It is designed, developed, researched, produced and supported by METRICON in Greece.

All sensors of the System are wireless, with low energy consumption, battery life of five (5) years and communication with a special “Zigby” type code.

The sensors can be used in any security application the user wishes, beyond tankers such as: Containers, ships and at any other surveillance point required.

Surveillance Points

Full surveillance of all “sealing” points on the tanker using advanced Metricon design technology. The user knows where the tanker is at any moment (Fleet Tracking) and the status of the “sealing” points. It ensures that the tanker executes the pre-planned route and access to its transported cargo is fully controlled. (Asset Management).

In any case of deviation from the itinerary or detection of unauthorized access to the load, MetriLOCK automatically informs the competent controllers for immediate action of each attempt.

Thus, MetriLOCK:
• Insures the tanker, the gas station owner and the company.
• Increases reliability in the entire fuel handling cycle, thus steering the market to demand the installation of MetriLOCK System on fuel tankers.
