SimTank was implemented as part of the HubCap program which aims to upgrade the capacity of SMEs in order to use Model Design Technology (MBD) in Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) and ultimately deliver new products and services across multiple application domains. The program provides services and technical expertise from seven Digital Innovation Hubs and offers financial support to European SMEs to experiment with highly innovative, cross-border experiments.
SimTank aims at a solution to save circuit board consumption. Which specifically aims to reduce consumption and thus multiply the overall life of the metrilock electronic tank sealing system.
The system consists of java code which, based on certain values, calculates the consumption of the system and defines the optimal changes to reduce it.
This program can work with any other system, as long as the corresponding values are set. The program helps to reduce the energy spent, so it offers savings on the battery and higher autonomy in each system.
